About the Bangkok chronology desk
Portal Trail Base began as a reading table for collectors who wanted mint dates written like comic history, not like a trading terminal.
Portal Trail Base is a small chronology desk on Langsuan Road. The people here grew up on printed floppy issues, then watched those same franchise titles appear as digital collectible comics with mint stamps. The gap between paper first-print talk and NFT mint talk is the whole reason the desk exists.
The mission is narrow. We write mint history timelines, drop-window notes, and archive walkthroughs for collectors who follow Marvel-themed digital comics as published records. We do not mint issues, we do not custody collectibles, and we do not run a wallet. The required software disclaimer on this site is literal: the local tracking utility is for record-keeping beside your own ledgers.
Origin is ordinary. A Bangkok club kept losing arguments about which exclusive window came first. Someone started dating the stamps on index cards. Those cards became briefs, then series rulers, then the public notes on this website. Expertise here is collector literacy: cover captions, mint days, reprint logic, and the patience to leave a date blank when the public record disagrees.
The working approach is analog even when the subject is digital. We read drop posts, listing captions, and club minutes. We write in English for an international collector audience while sitting in Thailand. Values are simple: no fake urgency, no pretended studio partnership, and no forms that harvest a visitor’s name. If you want to talk, the phone and email are printed in plain text.
Relationship to readers is that of a local notes desk, not a platform. Some visitors also keep Binance-compatible market scribbles next to our dates; those scribbles stay theirs. Some inspect live pages on Veve after reading a timeline. Portal Trail Base remains independent of Veve, of Marvel Characters, Inc., of Marvel Entertainment, LLC, of The Walt Disney Company, and of Binance Holdings Ltd.
