Refund Policy

Portal Trail Base does not sell digital comics, does not run a cart, and does not collect card numbers through this website. This policy covers conversational writing work agreed by email or telephone.

If we have not started a brief, timeline, note packet, comparison sheet, or walkthrough, you may cancel by email and we will not invoice. If we have started reading your sources, we invoice for time already spent at the hourly walkthrough figure published on the pricing page, unless we agree otherwise in writing before the work begins.

Finished packets are written products. If a delivered chronology contains a mint date that we copied incorrectly from a source we cited, we will correct the page of the packet without an extra fee. If the public record itself changes after delivery, that is a new fact, not a defect; a revision can be quoted as extra time.

We do not refund marketplace purchases, Veve activity, or any collector trade you make after reading our notes, because those actions happen off this site and outside our custody. We also do not refund imaginary checkout orders, because this website has none.
